"Working out can be (and often is) a strenuous exercise in motivation. Physical demands aside, it is often a mind game between you, your body and your personal trainer. Coming back sore from the gym due to improper base-knowledge, over-exertion and poor training are all factors that contribute to being less-motivated to work out. "Speedball! When I heard that word, my heart would sink. If there was one thing I used to hate using, it was the speedball. Adam asked me when I first began training with him in 2010 if I was interested in giving it a try and I figured it was worth a go. Boy, did I regret it! For weeks, no months, the routine was painfully slow. I started out getting 40 hits or so in a minute and progress seemed non-existent. After about three months, I hit 60 and at that time was about to beg to be let off. But Adam coaxed and counseled and never let me give up.Today, I regularly hit over 200 and have even bested Selina's score - major achievement! Now, I insist that I get at least a few rounds of speedball in per week. If Adam had told me that I would love it when I started, I would have thought he was nuts. But Teacher knows best...and I can officially say I am glad he didn't let me give up.
Speedball is just one part of an extremely well-rounded program designed especially for me. I know there are folks that fear the idea of an intense workout - especially ladies. Being muscle-bound and having no neck of which to speak is the image that comes to mind when the workout has boxing, weights and other strength building exercises in it. Looking like a bodybuilder isn't the result of such a workout - if you have the right trainer!
In the last 15 months, I've developed core strength, a better fitness level, toned legs and arms that let me wear a sleeveless top without worrying about the underarm jiggle! I am absolutely thrilled with what I have achieved and will continue to work to keep things going in the right direction."

"I have been an active runner for more than 30 years. Half of that time was spent in the UK military, and a key part of my lifestyle since then has been to stay fit - to handle the work requirements in numerous and often more difficult areas.I met Adam for several sessions of Myotherapy to overcome a hip injury, as my post-operation physiotherapy frankly hadn't achieved much or even been that good. So it became very important for me to overcome this injury, keep active and find a method to work the affected area, as well as build on my now alternative fitness regime.
Adam took time to understand my sporting & fitness history, and for the first time, explained to me which muscles worked the affected region. He also explained the areas to concentrate and work on, through stretching and relevant exercises. "I used to be very active when I was younger, as I played professional soccer in the UK. That was from the time I was 16, until around 30. After that though, I did not exercise at all. All my time was devoted to work.At first my inactivity didn't bother me. But gradually, especially over the last 5 years, I started to feel conscious of not being fit. I feel totally different about myself now. Even though I am training so hard, I feel much more energetic than before. As for my legs, I think they have also definitely become a lot stronger. In fact, I have no doubt that even my feet feel smaller! I must no longer have excess fluid in my system.
